About Intellifields

Built by a project finance practitioner, for project finance practitioners

Intellifields was built with a single conviction: the financial models that underpin billion-dollar infrastructure transactions deserve better tools than a shared Excel file.

About Intellifields

Intellifields is a London-based project finance modelling brand focused on building professional software for infrastructure and energy analysts. Our flagship product, Intellifields Horizon, is a professional desktop application that brings together a full three-statement project finance engine, scenario analysis, shareholder waterfall logic, and bankable Excel and PDF outputs in a single, offline-first workflow.

We build for the analysts, associates, and directors who model infrastructure projects day in and day out — the people who know the difference between CFADS and EBITDA, who have debugged a circular reference in a DSRA model at midnight before a credit committee, and who understand why a $10 million error in a financial model is not just a spreadsheet mistake.

Our products are used by project finance professionals in infrastructure advisory, development finance institutions, independent power producers, and project finance law firms across the UK and internationally.

Why We Built Horizon

Every project finance analyst has experienced the same problem: a model that was perfect yesterday breaks in a way that nobody can explain. A circular reference appears. A scenario assumption bleeds into the base case. A DSRA calculation that looked correct turns out to be three periods off. The audit finds it the day before financial close.

These are not rare edge cases. They are the day-to-day reality of working in Excel on models that were designed for a different era of financial analysis. The tools have not kept up with the complexity of modern infrastructure transactions.

Horizon was built to solve this. It is not a template. It is a purpose-built project finance modelling engine — one that handles DSRA mechanics, debt sculpting, multi-tranche waterfall logic, and scenario management without the failure modes that make Excel dangerous for high-stakes transactions.

It is available free to download. Because the best way to demonstrate that a tool is worth paying for is to let people use it first.

Our Principles

  • Offline first. Your financial models contain confidential deal information. Horizon runs entirely on your machine. No cloud, no server, no data transmission.
  • Practitioner-led. Every feature in Horizon was designed by someone who has actually built bankable financial models — not by product managers working from a feature request list.
  • Transparency. We publish our pricing openly. There are no setup fees, no hidden charges, and no surprise invoices at the end of a transaction.
  • No lock-in. Every model output can be exported to Excel or PDF. You own your work, completely.
